Book a Tarot Reading with Sammy

In-person tarot readings are available in 30-minute and one-hour increments.  Tarot readings are performed IN PUBLIC at Totem Books in Flint, Michigan. Tarot readings must be booked ONE DAY IN ADVANCE.  I do NOT DO same-day appointments! Sorry.  You must pay for your reading in full online or at the time of your reading.

An in-person tarot reading session is like meeting up with a friend for coffee in a charming bookstore. We will exchange pleasantries, and I will simply ask, "What brings you to my table today?" And from there, you will explain in as much detail as you want to provide your situation or what is going on in your life.  It helps to be detailed as possible as I am not a mind reader.  It helps if you are open and there is mutual trust.  I trust you to be as honest with me as much as you trust me to be the reader you need.  We cannot simply have a good experience if you do not trust me.  You can be skeptical, but I will warn you, I am not here to play games or change your mind.

You may record your reading with your phone or take pics of the cards at the end of the session.  I just ask that you are not a horrible person and do not bash me online or humiliate me. I trust you to be a decent human being. 

I will ask you to review me on Google and will text you a link to my Google Business page where you can leave a review (even if it is a one-star! Be honest! Honesty helps me know where I need to focus on and be better).  Leaving a review is completely optional, but this helps my business grow.

If you are NOT comfortable being read in a public sitting, an e-mail or virtual reading may be appropriate.

Virtual tarot readings are conducted via Google Meet. I will e-mail you the link and code to the meeting after you have booked and paid for the reading. Virtual tarot readings are available in 30-minute and one-hour sessions.

E-mail readings are great because they are 100% private and sent directly to your inbox. They come in a PDF with a photograph of the spread and the cards, as well as your reading. Some readings are approximately 500 words at minimum and 10,000 words at maximum. I like to try to keep readings between 1,000 - 5,000 words, depending on how much information comes through the cards and when you provide detail.  E-mail readings are also great because you can print them out and read them, save them to look back on and reflect, and share with friends and family.  And you don't have to leave your house! You just read it wherever you get your e-mail, and consume it with a cup of hot tea or whatever you fancy.

I am available to come read for your small get-together, party, small business, or charity event.  Please e-mail samstarotbiz@gmail.com for your quote or call (810) 771-5758 to discuss.  I will read small gatherings of up to 10 people, small businesses with 3-20 employees, parties of up to 50-100 people, and charity events of up to 200 people. 

If you are a non-profit in Genesee County that is focusing on mental health, animal rescue, cat rescue, dog rescue, bird rescue, or autism resources and support that IS NOT AFFILIATED WITH AUTISM SPEAKS, I will be happy to read at your event at no charge with 100% of the proceeds going towards your organization. I just ask for a review on my Google Business page. Your non-profit must also benefit Genesee County. 

If you are outside of Genesee County and your non-profit focuses on mental health, animal rescue, or autism resources and support that is not affiliated with Autism Speaks, I will be happy to read for you for an upfront fee of $150 for gas/mileage and you keep 60% of the profits. 40% of the profits will be for me.

For other non-profits and organizations in Genesee County, I will read at your event that 50% of the profits go towards your organization, which helps Genesee County residents, with 50% of the profits for me. 

If you are a non-profit organization outside of Genesee County and do not help Genesee County residents, you will need to pay an upfront fee of $200 for gas/mileage. You will be able to receive 20% of the profits of the profits from readings.  

I currently do not travel outside of Michigan.  So if you are not in Michigan, you are out of luck. Sorry.

Refunds are available for the following purposes:

- You canceled your reading and do not intend to reschedule online or by phone or text.

- I cancel on you for an emergency, or I am not comfortable reading you or answering your question, or if I feel I cannot truly help you.

- There is an event at Totem Books or Totem Books is closed for a private event or some other reason.

- You are not comfortable with me

- Financial emergencies (if you cannot afford a reading for some reason, but you booked, and something comes up financially such as a job loss or hard time, I will be happy to refund your money.  We will NOT do the session, however.  And if you cancel two times because of financial emergencies, you will be blocked from receiving services from me). These are very trying times and I understand things come up unexpectedly. I would rather you have money for your kids or to eat or keep a roof over your head than patronize my business.

- Your reading did not appear in your inbox, spam, promotions, social media, or trash folders, and you have PROOF (screenshots). I double-checked the email address and even attempted to send it to a different email address that you provided!

Refunds ARE NOT AVAILABLE if:

- Something in your reading that is predicted DOES NOT come to pass or you disagree with what the reading says.

- You are a no-show -- no text, no phone call.  If you continue to be a no-show, you will be blocked from receiving services from me).  

- You are late without a phone call or text and decide to cancel the reading at the last minute (how rude!!).

- I do not meet your expectations

- You do not provide proof you did not receive your reading in your inbox, spam, promotions, social media, and trash folders within a reasonable time frame or you do not provide an alternate e-mail address to send your reading to.

• Remember, your future is NOT set in stone; you create the life you want.  You are in charge of your destiny! Do not let tarot or astrology dictate your life!
• Take my guidance with a grain of salt
• Take my predictions with a grain of salt
• Remember, I am human. I have many years of experience reading tarot. I am not God. I am not responsible for anything that happens before, during, or after your reading. You are 100% responsible for any actions you take or do not take.  
• Keep your phone on silent (not vibrate) or off.  You can record your reading or take pictures with your phone, if meeting in-person. Google Meet does not allow me to record your session.
• When something is not clear, ask questions.  I may or may not be able to answer it.
• Be ready for silent pauses.  I am a thinker.  I think and analyze the cards.  I am not an out-loud thinker.  I also am not a talker.  I will not talk your ear off.  I will simply state what I see in the cards and you and I can have a discussion or I can keep moving forward with you nodding yes or no or simply telling me if something resonates or not.  I am here to be a listener and provide a listening ear.
• I may discuss my own life experiences or those of other clients (not by name). If you wish to avoid these anecdotes, please let me know before we begin.
• I am a spiritual person.  Sometimes I will talk about the Law of Attraction, God/Universe, spirit guides, angels, praying, and manifestation.  If any of these topics make you feel uncomfortable, please tell me at the beginning of the session.  If you have a religious preference, please let me know. I do not know ALL religions, but I'll do my best to accommodate your religious beliefs and not force mine on you.  I work best with Christians, Pagans, Wiccans, Agnostics, Atheists, and Spiritual people.
•  Please tell me your pronouns and anything I need to know about you such as your sexual orientation and name you'd like to be addressed by.  I am here to RESPECT YOU.  I will gladly tell you my pronouns, although they are not hard to figure out.
• Please patronize the bookstore. You can show your support to Totem Books by buying a cup of coffee, bubble tea, or a cool book, sticker, or enamel pin. It's a way of saying "thank you" for hosting us. This is not required, but it's super nice! They deserve business, too, since they are a local, small business that hosts tons of entrepreneurs and creative people in Genesee County!
• Call or text me if you are running late or need to cancel and reschedule and answer the confirmation text and/or e-mail that is sent the day before your reading.
